This privacy statement is issued by The Rebalancing School voor Lichaamswerk en Bewustzijn (for Body Work & Consciousness0, with its registered office in Arnhem and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under Stichting Opleiding Rebalancing.

Integrity and trust are fundamental values ​​of the Rebalancing School and we therefore place high demands on our own functioning in that area. That is why we wholeheartedly support the EU legislation in the field of privacy, The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which has been in force since 25 May 2018, and are happy to abide by it. This means that the information you make available to us as a Rebalancer, participant and student, subscribers and visitors to our website is handled very carefully and with appropriate data security. For you, we want to make the registration process and our further services run as smoothly as possible via our website.

Data Collection and Use

There are various purposes for which the Rebalancing School collects and processes your personal data. In the context of its services, the Rebalancing School collects and processes personal data from you:

• when you purchase the inspiration year, training, workshops, retreats, masterclasses or other products/activities/services from the Rebalancing School,

• when you are in contact with the Rebalancing School. This contact can be by telephone, but also if you approach us via e-mail, fill in a registration or contact form, sign up for newsletters, open days or approach us via social media,

• for product and service development and market research,

• to keep Rebalancers/students/participants/visitors informed of its (new) training offer or other products/services, whereby the Rebalancing School tries to take into account preferences based on products and / or services and interests purchased or purchased.

Personal information differs per contact moment, but always concerns your name, address details, telephone number and email address.Below is a summary of the collected personal information per contact type:

• In the registration form that is active for every activity we organize, the following information is collected after you have given us permission: first name, last name, address, gender, date of birth, telephone number, email, how did you get in contact with the school.

• For registration in the Inspiration Year, the following additional information is collected: profession and work experience, training followed, how came into contact with Rebalancing, experience bodywork and therapy, health.

• On our newsletter registration page we ask you to leave a first and last name and email address.

• At the start of the Inspiration Year, a passport photo is also taken after permission. This photo is used by teachers and guest teachers for identification of participants/students.

When a participant/student registers via our website, we only share the following information with the relevant teacher: name, place of residence, date of birth, email address, telephone number.

All the above data is stored digitally by the Rebalancing School within the secretariat and kept securely.

E-mail newsletter

Your e-mail address will only be used by the Rebalancing School for sending information about (new) products and services if you have given permission for this as a subscriber. You can withdraw this permission at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the e-mail message sent or by sending an e-mail to the Rebalancing School stating unsubscribe: info@rebalancing.nl

Social Media

The Rebalancing School likes to enter into a dialogue with Rebalancers, students, participants and visitors to the website about its organization, products and/or services via the web and (its own) social media channels. The aim is to provide useful and relevant information and/or to answer questions that are communicated via social media. The Rebalancing School actively follows the internet and social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and blogs. In doing so, the Rebalancing School makes every effort to follow discussions on these channels, participate in them and / or respond proactively and answer individual, relevant questions, complaints and comments. The Rebalancing School expressly reserves the right not to respond to every question or comment. Therefore, no rights can be derived from whether or not to respond substantively. The Rebalancing School is not responsible for the handling of personal data by other participants in its social media channels or the content on its social media channels. If you want to submit a complaint as a result of our data use, you can submit this complaint to the Personal Data Authority.

Log data & Cookies

Like many other websites, our website collects data that your browser sends when you visit our website. This is called log data. This log data may include information such as your computers’ IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our website you visit, the time and date of your visit and the time spent on the website. We take the protection of your data very seriously, but please bear in mind that there is no 100% secure way of data transfer via the internet or electronic data storage. We strive for the best means of data protection, but unfortunately cannot guarantee absolute security. We use the latest SSL protection, which is the standard in this area.

This privacy statement came into effect on May 24, 2018 and minor changes may be applied and implemented when regulations change or the type of service we provide requires different ways of data collection.
