Cancellation conditions Rebalancing School

These cancellation conditions are part of the General Conditions of the Rebalancing School

Definitions:

Cancellation: Cancellation is understood to mean unsubscribing by telephone with a written confirmation (by e-mail); and/or not appearing at an activity, regardless of the reason; and/ore being refused at an activity.

Teaching years: the Inspiration year, 2nd and 3rd year of the Rebalancing School.

Activity: the activities provided by the Rebalancing School, such as master classes, workshops, retreats and development days.

Tickets: tickets for the open days, open afternoons and festivals organized by the Rebalancing School.

1.Class years

1.1 In case of cancellation after registration up to 1 month before the start of the academic year: participant pays an amount of € 150 for administration costs. Any down payment will be refunded.

1.2 In case of cancellation within 1 month before the start up to 1 week before the start: participant pays 10% of the total training costs.

1.3 In case of cancellation within 1 week before the start or discontinuation of participation at a time when the academic year has already started, the participant is not entitled to a refund or reduction of the costs owed for that academic year, unless the Rebalancing School decides otherwise. This is independent of the reason why the class is canceled by the participant. Any overnight and catering costs paid in advance by the participant will be refunded to the participant with due observance of point 1.4.

1.4 If the participant is absent one or more blocks due to force majeure (force majeure: own illness or a death in the 1st degree, or mandatory quarantine) and deregisters from the team of the academic year before the start of the block, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Venwoude location:

• Definition of costs: Training costs concern tuition fees and accommodation costs; Accommodation costs concern location costs and catering; Overnight costs concern the booked overnight stay at Venwoude.

• In case of deregistration before 08.00 am on the 1st day of lessons, the participant will receive the costs for booked overnight stays  by Venwoude. To this end, the participant must submit a request to Venwoude himself. Training costs are non-refundable. If the participant is absent for one or more days during a lesson block, no refund will be made. If a participant unsubscribes from the entire block at least 1 month before the start of a lesson block, the participant will receive a refund of the catering costs in addition to the accommodation costs.

Location Meeuwenveen:

• Definition of costs: Training costs concern tuition fees and accommodation costs; Accommodation costs concern location costs, catering and overnight stays;

• If the participant cancels before 08.00 hours on the 1st class day, the costs for overnight stays will be refunded, provided the group to which the participant belongs is larger than 20 participants. If the participant is absent for one or more days during a lesson block, no refund will be made. If a participant unsubscribes from the entire block at least 1 month before the start of a lesson block, the participant will receive a refund of the catering costs in addition to the accommodation costs.

1.5 If the participant is absent on one or more separate lesson days, no refund will be made.

1.6 When catching up or again following a lesson block or single day of lessons (in the next lesson year), a discount of 30% on the lesson costs applies to the participant. Such a discount does not apply to other costs, such as for location, accommodation and catering. These must be paid in full.

1.7 If, due to force majeure and/or government regulations (for example in connection with an epidemic), the Rebalancing School is forced to take measures with regard to the organization or implementation of a teaching year, the Rebalancing School will first reschedule the teaching days and move to future dates (as far as possible already planned dates for later training days). If the participant has compelling reasons not to honor this shift, the Rebalancing School will make an appropriate refund proposal to the participant. This proposal takes into account the funds already paid by the participant and costs already incurred by the Rebalancing School.

1.8 If the Rebalancing School is forced to refuse or terminate a participant to participate in the academic year (see General Terms and Conditions article 3), the catering costs for the lessons not taken and accommodation costs will be refunded in accordance with point 1.4.

2.Learning and Feedback sessions in class year

2.1 A learning session or feedback session can be canceled free of charge up to a period of 48 hours prior to the session. If the session is canceled within 48 hours of or participant does not appear at a learning session or feedback session, the cost of the session will be charged to the participant in full.

3. Activities (workshops, master classes, retreats and development days)

3.1 If the participant cancels up to 1 month before the start and the activity has already been confirmed and invoiced, the participant will receive the total costs back minus € 25 administration costs.

3.2 If the participant cancels within 1 month before the start, up to 1 week before the start, the participant pays 25% of the total costs.

3.3 In case of cancellation within 1 week before the start, or after the start, the participant pays 100% of the costs.

3.4 Exception to 3.2 and 3.3: if there is a waiting list for the activity and/or a replacement is found by the participant himself, then only administration costs of € 25 are due.

3.5 If the participant is unable to attend a multi-day activity with overnight stay due to force majeure (force majeure: own illness or a death in the 1st degree, or mandatory quarantine), the conditions as described under point 1.4. In case of cancellation more than a week before the start of the activity, the conditions as stated in points 3.1 and 3.2 apply.

3.6 If the Rebalancing School is forced to take measures with regard to the organization or implementation of an activity due to force majeure and/or as a result of government regulations (for example in connection with an epidemic), the Rebalancing School will first reschedule the activity and scroll through. If the participant has reasons not to honor this shift, the Rebalancing School will refund the already paid monies to the participant minus an amount of € 25 as cancellation costs, as a contribution to the costs incurred by the Rebalancing School (administration, organization and location costs, etc. )

3.7 The Rebalancing School has the right to replace teachers scheduled for activities, should this be necessary due to circumstances. Exception: if a teacher drops out for a Masterclass, the Rebalancing School will strive for a suitable replacement, however, the participant has the option to cancel free of charge.

3.8 If the Rebalancing School is forced to refuse a participant to participate in an activity, or to terminate it (see General Terms and Conditions article 3), no refund will be made. If it concerns a multi-day activity, the catering costs for the days of the activity not used will be refunded. For a refund of the overnight costs, see point 1.4.

4.Tickets and Zoominars

4.1 Purchased tickets for an open day, open afternoon or festival will not be refunded if canceled.

4.2 Registrations for a Zoominar cannot be canceled.

4.2 If the Rebalancing School cancels a Zoominar, open day, open afternoon or festival for whatever reason, the participant will be refunded.

5.Reflection time and money-back guarantee

5.1 The 14-day reflection time and money-back guarantee applies to registration for all activities/training years. Exception: he reflection period does not apply to tickets and Zoominars, as described in Article 4. This reflection period applies up to the day prior to the start of the activity, if registration took place 14 days or less before the start of the activity / the academic year.

5.2 As soon as the activity/class year has started, the reflection period ends and no money-back guarantee applies (even if the participant has registered less than 14 days prior to the activity).
